Snowdrop Flowers.
Amaryllidaceae Family
Three Snowdrop flowers in full bloom with a blur of more behind. The Snowdrop flower grows from a bulb. The mother bulb grows new bulbs attached to her and this is the way she develops and multiplies each year.
Snowdrop flowers are a late Winter and early Spring flowering bulb. The flowers have green dots on the lower part of each petal. Typically, the flowers that grow on the stem are in groups of three and raining down.
Snowdrops are small flowers which are very delicate. The blur in red is a low growing red leafed plant with no flowers.
Photo taken in Melbourne, Australia.
