Grimaldi Rose shares its name with the Prince Rainier of Monaco.
Grimaldi Rose in the colours of striped creamy white and a burgundy to bright red. A sweet to spicy smelling Rose. The beautiful Grimaldi Rose grows on a bush and is long flowering. Although petals appear to have stripes they do also have speckles of red to burgundy on the soft creamy white parts of the petals.
The Rose on the left was more of a rich pink toned main marking with a soft pink background colour.
A beautiful strong perfume and prolific bloomer, it has sweet petals in salmon pink, splashed with cream that are ruffled and full. Robust shrub and highly disease resistant rose, is a magnificent sight when planted in groups or as a hedge.
Rich red to orange and yellow Roses in full bloom, Roses start to bloom in Spring and follow into Summer.
Photo taken in Melbourne, Australia.
