Borage Plant, Borago Officinalis
Borage is also known as Starflower.
The Borage plant is an annual herb.
The Borage plant is beginning to form buds in the middle of Winter. Once in full bloom the beautiful blue and softer blue flower with white tones are what these fluffy buds will become.
Her very furry buds of promise will soon open and will flower into Spring. The Borage Flower is also known as a starflower. The Borage plant is an annual herb in the flowering plant family Boraginaceae.
The Borage flower is used in medical and cosmetic purpose. The medicinal herb Borage has edible leaves and flowers. Oil is made from the Borage seeds. The leaves are rough looking and bumpy.
The buds of the Borage flower are hairy but look spiky and almost rough. The flower is displayed from the back.
