Grevillea Flower
Variety - DWRF Greencape Variety
Australian Native Flora
A small and pink Grevillea flower just opening from a bud. The beautiful Grevillea bud hangs at the end of the spikey branch like pink snail cased with a touch of soft white at the curls. The non petal variety of flowers are opening displaying some of its long arms in the pink to red tones. At the end of the arms is a round like eye in the shade of soft cream to pinkish.
The leaves are green and thin. The leaves are about a inch or so long at the end of the thin leaves in green there is a yellow area then a brown to black pointed end.
The Grevillea plant is an Australian native and like a lot of Australian plants not the usual petal variety. This Grevillea grows as a ground cover but can grow to a few feet tall. Like a lot of Australian flowers you really dont require to water them.
All my floral work is taken on my walks.
