Australian Native Flora
A wonderful small and pink Grevillea flower just opening from a bud. The Grevillea bud hangs at the end of the spikey branch like pink snail cased with a touch of soft white at the curls. The flowers are opening displaying some of its long arms in the pink to red tones. At the end of the arms is a round like eye in the shade of soft cream to pinkish.
The leaves are green and thin. The leaves are about a inch or so long.
The Grevillea plant is an Australian native and like a lot of Australian plants not the usual petal variety. This Grevillea grows as a ground cover but can grow to a few feet tall. Like a lot of Australian flowers you really dont require to water them.
All my floral work is taken on my walks.
