Iris ....Iridaceae Dietes Grandiflora, Native to Africa
A fully closed Iris bud. Iris bud displaying yellow on her outer petals. When the Iridaceae Dietes Grandiflora Iris open she had mauve and yellow markings.
In Melbourne Australia, the Iris is forming bud at the end of Winter. Her bloom will open in Spring. Flowers will then continue through Summer.
