Heath Banksia or Ericifolia Banksia is native to Australia. Heath Banksia is drought tolerant and grows in unfertilized and un watered soil. It will adapt to light frost.
The long flowers are commonly know as candles. The candles of the Ericifolia are in the tones of red and yellow.
The shrub or small tree grows between two to seven meters tall. Flowering in summer and autumn going into Winter.
The Banksia Ericifolia is an evergreen. The leaves are hard and almost spiky. The Banksia attracts bees and native Australian nectar eating birds.
